3 Quick Perspective Tool Presets PHOTOSHOP by balloonwatch 3 Quick Perspective Tool Presets PHOTOSHOP by balloonwatch
Today I was diving into some Tool Presets and finally making a 5-point perspective grid from scratch so that I can use it for all my distorted perspective needs.

Thought I'd share these for people who want quick perspective grids.

There are 3 tools here:
SHAPE: Vanishing Point
SHAPE: 5 point curvilinear grid
SHAPE: Grid

I named them such so that they stay together alphabetically in the tools palette by default.
You can go ahead and rename them if you so desire.

INSTALLING:
1. You'll need to use the Tool Presets Palette. I share its tab with brush settings. Find this under Window - Tool Presets
2. With the tab opened, go to the top-right corner and press the button that gives the options and find Load Tool Presets
3. Find and import the file
4. Should be good to go.

You won't get any cues or notice anything unless
you're already using the shape tool and you'll see
the named tools pop up.

If you import the tools twice, just hold ALT and click the tool preset to snip it away

If they don't show up after importing them (in the tool presets palette)
then uncheck the "current tool only" box OR cycle through the types of shape
tools to use the Polygon tool for the vanishing point, or the custom shape tool for the other two.

USING THE TOOLS:
1. Make sure you are using the polygon tool for the Vanishing Point tool preset
or the custom shape tool when using the other two (hotkey U by default and SHIFT + U to cycle through them)
1. Select the appropriate tool preset and remember to make a new layer on top
2. Choose a brush color you want (these will make pixels without the need to rasterize)
3. Drag it out from the center
4. Transform it if need be
5. Dial down the opacity of the layer
6. How to profit????

If they don't show up after importing them (in the tool presets palette)
then uncheck the "current tool only" box OR cycle through the types of
shape tools to use the Polygon tool for the vanishing point,
or the custom shape tool for the other two.

Cheers and Good Drawing
